Cathy's Make-up Must Haves

Take a peek into Cathy’s beauty arsenal! If you want to look as gorgeous and stunning as her, here are a few things you could use to achieve her goddess-like beauty!

1. Start with a great sunscreen. Cathy likes to get her daily dose of SPF from the Obagi line. 

2. Cathy also gets her dewy glowing skin from a tinted moisturizer from NuSkin.

3. At the end of the day, Cathy likes to take off all traces of make-up with her favorite product-- Clarins' Cleansing Milk. This gives her added moisture before bed. 

4. If there's one thing Cathy loves, it's her MAC cosmetics. From their pressed powder to lipstick, she hearts them all (just like her kiddies!)

5. As for those deep-set mestiza eyes, she loves to accentuate them with products from MAC, Lancome, and Laura Mercier. Cathy is never really loyal to a single product or brand (apart from MAC), as long as it works  (and it often does) she uses it! 

6. Cathy's tresses are always the "mane" attraction. She loves to wear them long, curly, or even a youthful ponytail for special occasions. For a more casual look, she sticks to her good ol' long shiny straight hair (no irons needed! hihi!)

7. Smelling fresh and pretty is always a must for the gorgeous socialite. She loves scents that are floral and feminine.

W.W.C.W. What Would Cathy Wear...

Since Mother's Day is just around the corner, we decided to make a special edition of WWSW (What Would She Wear) as a tribute to our one and only fabulous and beautiful stylista... Cathy Dacay. She never ceases to amaze us as she juggles her career and family life. All while keeping up with the latest trends. Accordingly, we have gathered a slew of lovely pieces that perfectly captures her elegant and chic style.


First off are the shoes. Cathy loves high-heeled platform ones. The sparklier, the better. She likes buying brands such as Christian Louboutin, Valentino, and other expensive brands we can name-- but can't afford. :( Also, Cathy hates wearing flats. Rarely would you find her buying and wearing them--except of course when she visits the market or goes jogging or feels sick. (haha!)

Of course, Cathy would never leave home without her fabulous bags. If you want to be like Cathy, get yourself a Birkin! If you can't afford one, well... better luck next time.

Jewelries are fashion staples in Cathy's closet as well. From diamonds to pearls and other precious stones, she has everything! She loves necklaces, bracelets, and watches. Just don't make her wear a ring (she thinks they're alimuut. haha!)

Last but not the least, the clothes!!!! Cathy loves chic billowy tops and show-stopping dresses. The more bongga, the better! Since there are too many Cathy approved outfits to mention, here are a few which we think best tickles her fancy! :)

Fashion Stalker

             s.After going through a very busy and hectic work schedule for the past couple of months, it seems as if we have failed to keep our fashion radars on for this spring season. But alas, our recent whirlwind trip to the U.S.A. has allowed us to make up for lost time on this season's new trends. As it turns out, a dear and favorite subject of ours, Cathy Dacay, was taking the same route as us in our trip. As we pounded the pavements of Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco, we marveled and oogled at her daily sartorial choices. Always impeccably-dressed, this lady never ceases to amaze us as she juggles her successful career and family, while still managing to keep up with the latest trends! Accordingly, we've gathered a slew of lovely pieces that perfectly capture her sophisticated and cool sensibilities, from an indulgence-worthy pair of ballet flats to a chic and functional carryall. Read on for all the exciting details of today's must-have Cathy picks. 

Spotted! Catherine with her all time favorite travel companion, the Large pink/salmon Chanel bag. By the looks of the SALE plastic bag behind her, it seems as if this lady loves a good bargain. 

We love the way she paired her loose Zara black top with her cuffed jeans. Plus points for the husband who matched his outfit with his wife!

Another day, another chic outfit! With her ever present signature cuffed Zara jeans, Cathy wore a printed top from Warehouse with her red Nine West flats, embossed with a large ruby stone.

Cathy is always known for her easy, classy, casual, and no fuss pieces. Case in point, she matches a long and slouchy black cardigan with her magenta top, and lime green scarf. Here equally stylish children were also game for a photo op with their mother. 

When under the sun, Cathy is always smart to put on a fabulous pair of sunnies. Here, she styles her over-sized limited edition sunglasses from Christian Dior with a sheer and vibrant polka dot top from Zara. Her diamond encrusted earrings add a personal touch to her casual look. 

You know your man loves you when he willingly carries your shopping bag for you! Aww, these two look awfully cute together.
